Some Animoto fun

The sights of Sydney on the Harbour Cruise

The last week has been spent at the Christian Venues Association Conference, an event held every two years, this year at the Collaroy Centre on Sydney’s northern beaches.

Management from all three of our QCCC sites were able to get there, making it a really good time of fellowship with each other.  But it was also a great opportunity to spend some time with around 300 other people involved in camping and conferencing, hearing about the great things they’re doing and learning from some very experienced operators.

There were lots of sessions on a range of camping issues, a trade show (hastily re-organised after 100km winds on the first night shredded some marques), a presentations from Ken Duncan, golf at Long Reef golf course and a Sydney Harbour cruise, to name just a few of the highlights.

It was an interesting experience to be at an event containing people and for those who would normally run that kind of event – a fertile place of ideas and networking.  One of the things I was shown was how easy it is to put together an Animoto presentation on the iPhone.

So to celebrate my first experiment with it, here’s QCCC does CVA.
